Yes, mine has a step notch. The difference in the front might be the way the bags are mounted, Im not using cups on top of the LCA, my bags are bolted to a plate welded to the bottom of the LCA.

Heres some pics, they're not the greatest, but they're the best I have for now. The first one is of the front crossmember and LCA with the truck aired down. The second one is of the front bag mount. The third and fourth ones are the step notch and rear bag/mount taken from the front looking towards the rear of the truck. The last one is just for comparison, stock vs. bagged.

The other truck in that pic belongs to a guy I work with. Its all original with about 117k original miles. He's the second owner, had it since '73. Its his daily driver rain/snow/shine. The bodys got some scratchs and dents here and there, but no major rust and the original paint still has a pretty good shine to it. Its a true survivor. I joke with him about his tailgate "disappearing" someday! lol

Thanks, That is what I enjoy most about this series of trucks, what a dramastic change in apperance between the two (stock vs. slammed). I have an '86 fleet and I love it too, but stock it looks like a brick and slammed it looks like a lowered brick.

I can see you have the tipical top plate in the front, then the only mod is the front the lower arms?

I wasn't going to do a big notch in the rear, I have ECE's trailing arms and crossmember. I am putting a list together for a notch now - keep an eye on the parts board, after my dues of course.

Ya, just the way the bottom is mounted, and it still has the stock inner fenders.

awesome set up!! what about a bed picture, it seems like a small step notch. how much into the bed did you have to cut?? trying to decide if I want to C notch or step notch..

Inside the beds pretty rough cause it still gets used to haul stuff. Its a pretty big notch, its just hard to tell from those pics. It only raises up through the bed floor a couple inchs, BUT the bed floors been raised 5 inchs.

Thanks man. I dont think Ive missed a single "Last Run" in the past 16 years. Its the biggest show around here and its only a 30 minute drive from my house, so we always make it up to that one. I dont always enter but definately go for the cruise on Saturday night. You goin this year?
