Re: The MONEY PIT
Welome from North Georgia to your new (second) family. The problem I have is staying off this site long enough to get some work done.

Re: The MONEY PIT
Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to making it to some of the meets in OK. Alan, your build is something else and I'm learning, and picking up a lot.
Here are a few more pictures. Last edited by drogers; 02-25-2009 at 11:36 PM. |

Re: The MONEY PIT
And even more. Can't just hit the rust, you've got to attack where it started.

Re: The MONEY PIT
I'm glad drogers is taking pictures of his floorboard repair. My '66 is in need of that transplant of good metal for the bad, rusty stuff it currently has. The funny thing about my owning this 1966 C-10 LWB is if I can get the cab weather -tight, then my wife will consider driving it. She really doesn't like seeing the asphalt pass under her feet when driving it. I had that same problem with a 1978 Ford Courier way back in a previous marriage. The trucks have always been "mine."
Are those panels for the sills and floor available? I haven't found a good source for those types of parts, and if any online sources around, I would like to know who they are. John in Eugene, Oregon |
