Re: I parked on a car =-)
I`ve never dragged one out.I always slide right off without getting snagged.
I had a left turn arrow and started out across the intersection when I noticed the guy across the way start rolling in his`96+ F150.I stopped dead hoping he might look right in front of him and see this `91 Suburban with 35" tall tires straight in front of him,"Do you see me?Do you see me?".I guess not.BAMM!!!He slammed right into me,which was more like up under me.Steam blowin`everywhere, his hood straight up,front end mashed 1/2 way to the windshield on his truck, and him sittin`there with an air bag in his face lookin`all bewildered is all I remember.I told him he out to cut his truck off.He got out and tryed to say I ran a red light.Anyway...his truck was totalled and I drove away with 1/2 my grille broken, twisted bumper, and front lower corner of fender bent.

Re: I parked on a car =-)
ANYWAYYYY....
I swear this story is true... I was on the way home from the DMV having just picked up my new plates that read: "RN U OVR". It was snowing all morning (which means we had 3"-4" on the road). I was driving down a divided 4 lane in the city I live in, and going my normal slow speed. Lord knows these 12.5" wide tires sure do float! So I'm just cruising along, all happy and warm like a guy should be in a truck in the snow... When "uh-oh!!" BANG!!! Some douchebag back-dragged with his plow to clear out a driveway, but left a bunch of snow trailing into my lane! There was traffic next to me, so I couldn't swerve around it. So, the snowbank dragged my right front, which jerked my whole truck to the right. Right into a Brand Spankin New Honda civic! BANG! My whole truck bounced up and over the rear of that little coupe! I pulled over and parked about 50' up the road and started knocking on a couple doors to find the owner, who then called the PO. I swear, this little college hottie was like in tears in the slush on the street staring at her TOTALLED new Civic! I had to coax her from standing so close to traffic in a spot where I had just gone off the road. So the cop fills out the report, and rolls his eyes when he reads my new plates. The girl was creating such a fuss, that he almost forgot to ask.. "Let's take a look at your damage" he says to me! When I tell him there is NONE, he looked at me like I might be stealing motorcycle plugs when darkness falls (mcguiver style, makeshift crackpipe). We walk up and inspect the spot on my bumper where the white paint is now missing and get into a lovely conversation about old trucks and his old motorcycle and that cute college girl acting like a complete moron in her slippers in the slush. One totalled honda, one missing spot of paint!

Re: I parked on a car =-)
This might happen to you guys too...
You guys who live where ya gotta parallel park... you'll understand this one. All the new cars have plastic bumpers and even shocks behind them! So, when average Joe goes to parallel on the street, he bumps the car behind him, and bumps the car in front of him. Ya GOTTA, just cuz the spots are so damn tight... WELL, it's a little different bumping into a solid metal trailer hitch I used to laugh when I'd get to my truck in the morning and see a 2" square dent in the hood behind my truck. Poor parkers never saw it coming!

Re: I parked on a car =-)
Has anyone drove on to the back of a car?
My Uncle did it to the Mayor and lost his license.

The #1 best line when someone does something stupid like run into your truck and totals their car, "HEY! You scratched my bumper!"

He should have tried to run, or drive away.

Re: I parked on a car =-)
My guess by the sound of the motor pinging off the rev limiter, i assume his front wheels were off the ground, and he hit the cop in anger. just didnt expect to get an over-the-top preformance.
