I would paint that button flat black to match the wheel well.

This was supposed to be temporary when I put the billet grill in and would have to lay on the ground and open the hood with a stick. I took an old throttle cable I had and installed a Piece of metal to trip the stock lever. I screwed a plate on the bottom of the radiator support so you can't reach up and trip it. Eventually I want to put it in the cab like putter did.
