rear shocks
How does the rear shock mount into the bottom hole? Is it just a bolt that screws onto the bottom bracket or is it one of the bolts with a nut built onto it as a spacer (like the 73 and up)? Anyone know what I mean? Thanks.

???
Leaf or coil? The leaf has a bracket that has two side plates. Both plates have a 1/2 inch(I think) hole and the shock sits between the plates. The shock has a rubber bushing in it and the bolt goes through one plate, the busing and the second plate. There is no shoulder on the bolt and mine don't have a metal spacer inside the rubber bushing. I don't know about coils. Hope this helps ------------------ Scrub 70 GMC 1,000,000 + miles 72 K-20 project, 456 Dana60 front, Corp14 rear w/locker, 265R19.5 tires 20-ply.
