well, i got it timed in today. i think i got it about 6 degrees advanced. and it runs soooo smooth. i think the timing issue is what caused the rapid overheating. i drove truck today for the first time and it was nice. now i just need to button everything back up and replace a couple injector o-rings and put in a bigger radiator and i should be good to go for this already hot texas summer. i did for some reason lose my brakes, but that shouldn't be to much of an issue. at this point, i'm more interested in goin' than i am slowin'
