Re: Looking for engine or engine builder in Dallas Area

Final update, I just picked my block up from Farris Racing Engines. It took them 4 days to do the work (vat, bore 30, and cam bearings) and the total bill was 180 dollars including the bearings. The work looks good and I am quite happy with the deal. Good guys to talk to and deal with and they now have a new customer in me.

Hell yes. You get your stuff in a pile and I will bring my tools and reference manuals and we will screw your mill together. I love engine work. It appeals to the obsessive/ compulsive side of me.

Re: Looking for engine or engine builder in Dallas Area

010 block, 4 bolt main, 30 thou oversize...

By the way, even though this is a 350 block, it's not gonna be a 350 or a stroker. I have a real trick up my sleeve on this thing. Let's just say that there is a 307 out there that doesn't have legs anymore.
