Re: Xmember Fab Question

I'm breaking out the grinder/sawsall. I was getting sick of doing body work anyway. Sorry Allan

Re: Xmember Fab Question

I think step one would be to buy the truck, then take it all apart, your at like step 10 with it out and drawn up

If you screw it up you can buy mine that i replaced with the SD crossmember, and it does come with Shocks too! not sure about PB's

Re: Xmember Fab Question

I'm still amazed at what people will do just so thier truck will sit on the ground. It's kind of addicting. Now I have to go get my fix. Good info thanks Capt.

Re: Xmember Fab Question

Do 1/2 ton and 3/4 tons use the same crossmember? I'm getting a 63 GMC 3/4 ton and would like to use either the SD or Porterbuilt units. Can the SD unit be used with the stock arms like the PB?

I believe the cross-members are the same.....you would probably get some better answers specific to the SD cross-members in the suspension section, or by PM'ing Thorbecke Bros.
