Re: Cup holder conversion for ashtray

I bought mine from Old Air Products directly on their website. But I haven't put it in yet 'cuz of having factory air - makes it much more of a hassle according to their instructions.
Kevin, did you change the center air ducting as the instuctions indicate?
Also, I'd like to know why you guys say they are not very functional.

Didn't have to change any ducting. Was a pretty simple install. Does not hold cups very well water bottle falls out while driving. Probably why they stopped making them.

I've got them in both of my trucks....no difference in installation for the non A/C or the A/C truck...that I can recall. The screws are tough to get to as I recall. I have to agree that they are more for looks...the only thing they hold very well is a 12 ounce can...anything else is kind of tippy...

As a "Recovering Alcoholic" of 20 years, my "Drink Of Choice" is a 12oz can of "Diet Cherry Pepsi".
Have one in my hand 24/7 and this Cup Holder would work PERFECTLY for my needs!

(Now if I can only FIND one)!
