The more tailpipe you add after the muffler the quieter it will get is my understanding. Mine dumps just past the rear axle

I think Bassani makes a great sounding muffler . Since it seems like you will be limited on the length after the muffler , and you do not want it too loud , I would look into the Bassani. If not them then I would think about a Magnaflow.
