Re: Need some honest opinions.

Ok guys, I installed the front drop spindles and the rear drop coil springs and I have to admit it does look much better dropped. Also ordered the 18x8 Rocket Booster in Hyper Silver today. They should be here mid-week and I'll get some pictures out then. By the way, I signed up as a dealer for Rocket wheels and would be glad to order these for any board members at my cost + shipping. It saved me right at $125 per wheel at the prices I found on the web. I'm not trying to be a tire/wheel store although we do plenty of tires. I just wanted a better price and would love to help anyone else out that may be looking for wheels. Here's their site if you want to see what they offer.

Re: Need some honest opinions.

Like some have said...Torq Thrust II's...I went with 16x8's on the Circuit Rider cause I bought used ones. 5 Spoke look sharp on our trucks. Cragers now have direct bolt patterns for our trucks in 17" I believe. I love the colors of your truck. The dark blue will look very nice with Cragers or TT II's. JMHO which is woth .001 cents.

I'm glad you decided to lower it a little. I don't care what the model, year, color, even rusted cancer they all look good with a 2.5/4". Your new wheels will look awesome with that dark paint like 70CST said. Can't wait to see it.!!

Scott can't wait to see what your truck looks like now. Unfortunately, I'm not as close as Doug or else we would be there early Saturday morning to check it out... first hand!

OK, I was going to wait for the wheels but here it is with the 2/4 drop and the old, ugly 15" wheels. Even my wife commented on how much better it looks dropped. For the before / after shots, look at the first pic I used to start the thread and then this one. The 18's should fill up the wells even more. Can't wait for that brown truck to roll up next week.

Hey scott, the drop looks good. Where in Olathe is your shop I'd like come by and check your truck when you get the wheels.
