yes, ive thought about it... i just like all the chrome around the signals and across the front. my original piece that goes across the front has quit a few dings in it so if i cant find another clean one i'll end up getting the earlier bezels.

Ken, the grille is something that has always puzzled me. its a '79 grille w/ the lower chrome piece across the front. my truck is a '78.... My dad swears its ALWAYS been like that and i know she's never been wreaked. the only thing i can think happened is that after my grandfather bought it in '78 the '79's came out and he must have loved the newer look and went down to the dealer and ordered the newer bezels and lower valance. and my dad never knew about it.... ???
