Re: Dewalt 18V Impact Wrench

I have a small collection of DeWalt 18v tools and love every one of them. I don't have the impact but plan to buy it.

I suggest you get it with the battery. It's usually cheaper than buying the battery separate and you can never have too many batteries.

My batteries are almost dead. It IS cheaper to buy another drill and get two batteries and another charger for about the same as two batteries!

Re: Dewalt 18V Impact Wrench

I have a DeWalt DC821KA and I love it. It is not an IR unit with lots of air, but it works for most things I need. I originally bought for deck framing, but now I use it to rotate my tires, and I just used it on stubborn shock bolts, spring hangers and U bolts. It really is handy.

And I got it for a sweet deal on closeout, $150 for the whole kit(impact, 2 batts, and charger!)

Great ideas SubV. That woud be nice for driving lag bolts on deck framing, playground eqiup ect.

Oh yeah! It works AWESOME for this! Between the cordless impact wrench and cordless impact driver(1/4 hex) you can drive the heck out of bolts and screws!
