Re: Using a Camaro Tach in our Gauge Clusters
Albert, I'll be getting mine done in the next month or so. When I get it done, i'll call you. Either you stop by or i'll come down to the dealership to see you. Harry

Re: Using a Camaro Tach in our Gauge Clusters
Haha, this did come out of a late 70's camaro, but I have done some things to make it "look" like it belongs in a truck dash. I don't know what years had the black raised center circle as opposed to other camaro year tachs. I pulled the tachometer from a junkyard and tested it and decided to go crazy. Trevor

i just did mine and it looks great. question though does the 12v wire go to constant or key on power? i have it hooked up to key on power and when i shut the truck off the tach jumps to about 2500

Re: Using a Camaro Tach in our Gauge Clusters
For those who have done this, are these tachs accurate ? Just curious as I may do this before I put my gauge panel back in.

Re: Using a Camaro Tach in our Gauge Clusters
They should be accurate as long as they are hooked up correct.
