Hey Steve. I have a factory installed throttle control like the one you are talking about on my 71 C10. As far as what it's worth. I can't even tell you what the thinking was behind the design!? I could see it's worth if you had a PTO on your truck but otherwise.....I don't know.

is yours at the bottom of the dash on your 71 or is the knob in the dash bezel?...Steve
