So I made the drive yesterday after work, and Harold gave me bothe the intake and exhaust manifolds!!! (Thanks Harold, and I'll get a hold of you when I get my truck back here so that I can come pick up the rest of the engine, too).
This is a classic story of why the internet, and especially these kinds of forums are incredible for people who like saving old vehicles from crushing deaths!!! This weekend I hope to pull the manifolds apart, sandblast and paint them so that when I get them back to my truck, I can bolt them on, and be styling in a relatively short amount of time!!! Thanks again Harold, it was nice meeting you!!!! I'll post some pics when there's something worth looking at. |
