I had to notch the trans crossmember,& built a new rear member, also notched(ex pipe clearance). Installed a set of hooker comps,& ran 2 1/2" pipe, all tucked up nice to keep from road rash! All that is left is to install the H pipe, then time to start on electic fans.....looks like tommoro is junk yardin time......69 longhorn.

Im runnin an sp100 lincoln mig on the ex pipe, use it for tin work also. When I get into the heavy stuff,i have to fire up the "rod burner". The little mig just doesnt run hot enough for any chassis related work. I have run a 170 lincoln that a bud has,& it will crank up.....1/4 ,1 pass, just singin! Well, of to the shower....got to get rid of the grindum dust......69 longhorn.

The SP 100 was gas ready when I got it,I think the weld packs need to be converted. Its great for tin ,exhaust tubing,& small brackets. I have welded 1/8" with it(go cart for the boys),but the best feature is that you can really dial it down for light stuff. I would like to have a 170 or 200 amp for welding chassis pcs,but for now the old buzz box gets the job done. ....69 longhorn.
