When I was a kid I never cared much for slots. More then likely because they were about the only type of custom wheel you saw. I had a jeep wagoneer, and couldn't wait to get the slots off of it in the 80's. Times have changed, and nothing says ol' school like some vintage indy style mags. These are US Mags. I've always used the etching cleaner, and never bothered with polishing. The center caps are aftermarket.

Hey you mentioned the center caps were after market. Where did you get yours?

I bought them at Pep Boys. I think they were western wheels brand. It's been a few years so I could be wrong. The mounting holes didn't line up. I had to drill new ones.
