Power Steering bracket hardware
Hey gang, does anyone have their power steering pump off at the moment that could give me the appropriate bolt measurements (thread-pitch x length) for the two that go into the block, next to the crank? I've got all the others, but I don't have a fist full of misc hardware to try in there at present.
Thanks ~Dan EDIT: Its the style with those two bolts and an arm that attaches to the motor mount. (307, original motor) Last edited by DjS71; 08-03-2010 at 09:49 PM. |

Re: Power Steering bracket hardware
The bolt threads are 3/8-16. I use bolts that are 2" long but the holes need to have the threads cleaned up as they will bottom out slightly. I believe that the factory bolts were 1 3/4" long but most bolts come in 1/2" increments so 2" is the closest that I could come up with.
