That I don't know, I've never bought a crate engine. I would think so though. Basically you will want to have the engine fire as soon as possible (no lengthy cranking) and run it @2000 rpm for 20-30 minutes, varying the rpms some intermittently. This will breakin the cam. You will want to be sure and use a breakin additive in the oil. Also since this is a flat tappet cam engine, you will need to either use an oil that has sufficient levels of ZDDP, or use regular oil with a ZDDP additive. This is to protect the cam and prevent premature cam failure. There is a sticky in the 'Engine and Drivetrain' section about proper oils.
