I suggested google images so you can see pictures of the NP205 and make sure thats what you have, the NP203 looks a bit different.

Parts can be a bit expensive, you can allways start with a napa store too. but heres another link.

Those prices are absolutely ridiculous. Much better price at the link below.

OP, in your identification, look between the rear output and the front shaft's rear bearing retainer. If there is a little 3-bolt cover between them, it is a 205. If not, it is a boat anchor.

I had my NP208 rebuilt at a local shop in April.

New seals, bearings and chain. And of corse labour.
900 beans later.

Reman case is 1200 + tax. (after core return)


When I blew the 4spd in my truck I drained the tcase fluid for removal and it looked like pink metal flake paint.
Chalk full of partical goodness. /sigh
