Hi All, thanks for the replies. I did manage to get the pin out but kinda had to destroy it in the process. I had to drill out the broken piece of the pin puller, well, as much as I could. Then I used an extractor tool to yank the pin out enough to get a vise grip on it. And ta-da, one unthreadable pivot pin.
Thanks 85gmcguy, I found that site very helpful. 54caddy, your made up tool seems better than the "POS" pivot pin puller that I purchased from O'Riellys for like $20. The screw part snapped off in the pivot pin.Big Port Jimmy 6, yes I did. I need to find another set of pivot pins, hopefully not at a stealership.
