deadly sins:

1. Slamming
2. Chopping
3. Shaving
4. 17 inch or larger wheels
5. Seats from wrong years
6. One-piece door glass
7. Smoothed firewalls
8. Anything XXL is contemplating

And the #1 sin, dash cutting!
At least he didn't say non Chevy engines into chevy truck...I was starting to sweat this list.

The mirrors may well not be a ford set up, but a dead ringe. I have seen some that looked EXACTLY like the ones on my old Power Ranger. ('89 POS Ranger XLT)
Regardless of what you do or do not have there...it is a sweet truck with some very nice features on it.

Couple other inconsistencies.

1. The door panels should have woodgrain on htem as well. Those look like Custom deluxe panels.

2. All tilts installed in trucks are black. I know you stated it was a converted van tilt, but it would be more correct if PO had left it black.

I know somebody back here that would love to have that rear bumper!

When I pulled a van tilt from a mid 70's GMC Rally 6 there was no steering shaft. The column went at a steep downward angle and hooked right up to the rag joint. I used my own steering shaft and shortened it. The stock column has about 4" showing on the sliding (collapsible) part of the steering shaft. A van tilt in one of these trucks will show about 1 1/2".

Alright, I'll be straight with ya, since none of these other guys will!
You got SCREWED!!

But since I'm feeling extremely charitable today, go ahead and ship it to Texas and I will refund your purchase price, even with the mirrors, tilt, bracket and woodgrain problems.

Anyway, nice find. I hope you can sleep at night knowing what you did to that previous owner.

Good Luck!

I realize with what you guys have said.. I hit a little jackpot..

This has made me feel alot better about it..I usally just deal with off road rigs and parts..

The trim in front and behind the tool box should also have screws in it.
