This thread reminds me of a cartoon in an older hotrod magazine, the kid is breaking his butt working on his car into the night getting upset, his dad walks over and says "one day you'll tell everyone this was the best car you have ever owned".
Made me think of my first truck, still feel the same way down to this day, and that was some 35 years ago. Hang in there you'll get it fixed. Tom
