hey kevin at grunions told me he has cut the rails under the cab on a square he built and it worked out awesome for him. I forgot about that option until you said something. If you google grunions in phoenix just ask for kevin, hes a cool dude as far as I know and may be able to give you pointers.

N2TRUX....I think he's talking about cutting the rails on the cab down, not the chassis/frame rails....

Ya know, I think you are correct. Man that seems like it would open up a huge can of worms. Getting the cab, clip, and bed modified to line up would be a nightmare.
