Re: Air ride removal, back to static?

Well I don't think of my truck as needing air to get off the ground to drive and my truck has alittle go to it also. It's more muscle so I can see where your coming from but look at it like this, if you can set it and forget it like with a ride pro system then when you cruise to a show or something you slam it down in the weeds and be happy. If you have a static drop your kinda at the fate of the roads with no adjustment. Just my opinion.

Well said Shortbed......my air comp stoppee working and I have been riding around for a month without touching the ride switchs.....now if your bed is cut and you where going to take out a notch and put in a new floor I could see it..but if your like me with a full floor then you can still use your truck like a truck ride low and carry a load if you want to?? seems to be the best of both worlds thats what swayed me

Re: Air ride removal, back to static?

This truck is done..... as in the air system is installed, functions, & needs nothing. While I don't believe it will serve a 'dual purpose' functionality like Hottrucks ride, it doesn't need to w/2 other work trucks readily available.

I just don't see where there's benefit to remove something that functions & isn't broke.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
