Carb rebuild HELP. electic choke

I've got my qjet all torn down and ready to soak. My question is will wit be ok to submerge the electric part in the carb cleaner? Maybe i'm dumb but i saw no way to take this piece off.

If you are speaking of the black heater part the wire hooks to no....I wouldn't soak that. If there's no screws to remove it, It must still have the pop rivets in place. Drill them out to remove before soaking.

Re: Carb rebuild HELP. electic choke

According to the book and YouTube video I looked at prior to rebuilding my Quad, they all said NOT to soak the electric choke parts...
