Re: ECE's Cup Holders!

Nice fit, however, since I have a four speed manual tranny the shifter whacks my cup holder when going from 2nd gear to 3rd gear. Not too cool.

Re: ECE's Cup Holders!

I read on a recent thread on here that they do not make/sell them anymore because the manufacturer priced them out of reason. I am pretty sure they were around 60.00 when availabale and Brothers used to sell them as well.

Re: ECE's Cup Holders!

Wes posted pics a while back that wasn't related to this..... ya...that cupholder is pretty nice! Too bad they aren't available anymore. I wonder if part of it was a problem with durability? If anyone can bring them back it would be Wes (hint)!!!!

Re: ECE's Cup Holders!

I think there's at least one more thread about cup holders, but the one that Rockrin did is like the one I bought from Kenny's Truck Parts (Tulsa, OK) at a swap meet. Mine has Old Air as the supplier name, so that may be an avenue you would want to try.

I also picked up a billet aluminum cup holder from a street rod shop. It has L-shaped brackets to attach it to where you want it to be. It doesn't move so you need to put it where you want it to be. I never did install it because the bottom of the dash is angled and that would make the cup holder not set level. I could bend the flange and make it work, but I didn't.

Here's pix of both.

Re: ECE's Cup Holders!

I would love to bring them back. Unfortunately "Old Air" was the manufacturer. I use to sell lots of them and had installed a few in trucks myself including the "Garden Truck". I talked to them about it and they said that they were too expencive to continue to produce. WES
