Yes on the road salt and moisture in the air. We also use calcium chloride on the roads as well. Really speeds up the rust factor. We often joke about how the auto manufactures should have an option of rust. You should be able buy your vehicle with rust on it already because it's just going to rust out in a few short years. Yes most of the country is better off than we are. It is very challenging when restoring vehicles up here. That's why I buy all my parts new GM or from out west somewhere. I am so sick and tired of fixing rust. It's painful to buy a new truck because it will be junk in no time. That's why this is the last time on redoing this truck.
