Re: Any other hood styles besides cowl hoods??

I welded in a pair of 68/69 Chevelle SS scoops into my hood last fall. (had the hood in my garage collecting dust for eons that I bought for $25 dollars)

I've never seen it done with this year before so I guess it's a one of a kind for now. I also changed to 69 Chevelle SS marker lights.

I guess my C10 is now a C10SS?

P.S. I think the 70-72 Chevelle SS domed hood scoop or cowl induction would be awesome but I didn't have any of those "lying around." lol

Here's one but the left side still has to be tightened down in this pic. Also a pic of these in primer that shows more detail.

Re: Any other hood styles besides cowl hoods??

Those look good. 67's.

66's would be real easy, you could just bolt them on unless you wanted a flush fit, then you would have to recess them.

Re: Any other hood styles besides cowl hoods??

Here is that same truck at carlisle 2 years ago. I really like the hood scoops and I thought the side markers for turn signals was kind of neat too.

Sadly, No. The old war horse patiently waits for me but Work and Life keep getting in the way of me making any real progress.
