Re: What did you do to your truck this week?
Got a point, but with how your truck looks...lol it'll be different I think going from polished aluminum 16's to 15" rallies.

Actually, I think his are '99-'06 16" steels painted black with original centers, unless he put 15's on it recently. Still, get 'em on and get some pics! Lol

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?
they are on his ext. cab truck, but yea soon as I can find some 35's if not gotta settle for some 33's. Things aint cheap anymore. I missed out on 2 great deals on 35's already, guy I bought the rallys from sold a set for $125 with one tire wore on the outside only.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?
I was gonna trade a set of 6-lugs like on your '88, for a set of 32x11.50 15's. Sent him a pic of the 16's, he decided he wanted em. He said to be at his place the next morning, and he'll just put the 16's right on his truck. And the wheels I was gonna get came with 3 extra tires. He called next morning, claimed he had doctors appointments the next few days. Okay, fine with me just decided to do it over the weekend instead.
Called back Friday he said to come over Sunday. He called the house Saturday while I was out with my girlfriend, told my dad he sold the whole truck. Pissed me off, man. He made plans to trade for my 16's, told me he was gonna take them and trade them for his 32's, and then he just sells the whole truck. I hate it when people turn chicken shxt.

Re: What did you do to your truck this week?
A month or more ago My tail pipe came loose from the muffler. I should say rusted away. The truck is a '92 K3500 w/6.5TD. I had put a Banks exhaust system on it in '01. So,I can't complain about the 10 years service but that doesn't change the fact that my river of money runs like a small creek in a drought right about now. So,I pulled the tail pipe off and went on with it knowing the rest would likely give way before long. The muffler was starting to go I could see. Well, the other day it let loose from the down pipe off the turbo...like right under the passenger's foot area. The down pipe is good and solid and the pipe runs straight as an arrow back to the tail pipe, except the muffler outlets are offset. So,I went and bought a 7' length of 3" pipe, went to my favorite exhaust shop and they stretched the front end so it could slide on the down pipe and put a minimal step back where the muffler would be. They charged me $10. I already had some HD hangers and 3" clamps. I just had to buy a 3 1/2" clamp and a 3 to 3 1/2" reducer since the tail pipe is 3 1/2". I went home and got that all put together with the tail pipe re-installed in no time. The best part is I spent about $60 and it sounds great! The tail pipe is mandrel bent, but the shop crimp bent the step in the straight pipe. Heck, gotta have some back pressure, right? It really isn't loud at all being full length and through the turbo. Runs great and you get a good bit of turbo whistle. I'm happy with it and am good to go for another good while. Even still have my polished stainless tip!
