Help!!!!!

My clutch went out in me 72 c20 350 4 spd i replaced the clutch pressure plate and throwout bearin but i still have no pedal, upon further investigating i found the pivot rod from th frame to the block is cracked can this be welded back even if its only temporary?

i would say so as long as you can get a good weld on it where it cracked it should be good as new cant end up worse then mine that the PO notched out to clear the headers

oh and just a heads watch for the grease inside to catch fire when your welding on it
