BUY THOSE TIRE!
You can run 40s with a 8", but will not have room for articulation. I am running 12" lift with 39.5 and still hit the fenders from time to time. As for the drive shafts, you will need to have them lengthen. This is fairly cheap vs. a complete driveline rebuild.
