Its out of a 05 2500. I know i need the unmolested wiring harness and ecm as well as the gas pedal. Is there anything else i need from the donor truck to slap this in my square?
Ill be using my 700r4 so i dont need anything tranny wise. Thanks Okie Posted via Mobile Device

Well if it's a Drive By Wire throttle body, you'll need to figure out how to hook up your TV cable from the 700.

Re: found a 6.0. need to make sure im getting everything.
I couldn't find any viable options when I was doing mine, so I had to switch to a cable throttle body. My 700 is toast now, so that was a waste of time. Others have had luck, so who knows. Anyway, I am unaware of any options to hook up a 700 to a DBW throttle body.

I would use the transmission from the donor truck. You will be a whole lot happier with the electric shifting trans, since the harness is all there. If you need any work done to your computer or harness I HIGHLY recommend John at Speartech.

The ealier drive by wire engines needed a TAC (throttle actuation control) module but the later ones this might be built into the ECU???

05 is usually the switching point. Trailblazers in 05 got the new pcm which ran directly to the TAC Pedal, other 05 vehicles would still have a TAC module and pedal.

Re: found a 6.0. need to make sure im getting everything.
On full size trucks 2007 is the last year they had a TAC, and that is only in the OLD body style (or Silverado Classic I think they called them) '07's, the NEW body style '07's don't have them.
