Re: Slot lovers unite!
I love my slots!I spent three years trying to buy them from a guy who had them on a 76 big 10.Every time I saw him I would offer to buy the slots. He got the truck and the slots from his aunt and did not want to part with them.My last standing offer was $200 plus a trade with a clean set of outlaw 2's,I would do all the jack work and have his tire mount and balance .He still said "NO".I ran into him at a mutual friends house and he informed that he had sold the truck and slots along with it that day!
I made him give me the phone number of the guy he sold the truck to.I called and explained the story and made the same offer to the new owner. He said it didn't make much difference to him and we struck a deal.I now have a very nice clean set of deep dish slots and their beautiful.I love the way the look on our trucks. Also, because of the deep backset it made my track width wider and improved handling ![]() ![]() ![]()
