Re: I dont no what I am building haha
Here is the frame table completed with the frame on the table. Table may be a foot to high. I will worry about it later. I want to get to work on the truck.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha
So are you using the frame that is shown in earlier posts? With the Scotts suspension? or are you going to use the one in the photo on top of the frame jig? Are they the same one? It looks like a different one. If your not using the one with the Scotts Suspension, what are you planning on doing?
Your projects are really cool. I enjoy watching your builds. Keep up the good work and good luck with the baby! When my wife and I had our kids the first one was natural, I dont like that too much. Not much you can do while they are in horrible pain, and the second she had an Epidural, that my friend is the only way to fly! Not hardly any pain. Good luck and congratulations! This is a great time in your life. Enjoy. |

Thats what I was thinking. It should br a foot shorter. At least my back will not be sore from bending over.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha
Kevin said he would shorten it to a blazer so you could see it. I think I am going to leave lt long and low.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha
I got one of the notches in last night and most of the cross members out. I said it before taking out the cross members sucks.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha
both notches are in and all cross members are out. Center cross member is in and bolted down. I still have to finish welding up the notch and boxing the frame but it seems to going well. Hope the notches are deep enough to lay this truck out. I am going to measure the ones on the 72 to see if i have enough room. I guess only time will tell.

There are a few different ways to shorten this so I drew up some of the options. I left the original image behind each one to give you a general sense of how much I was chopping. ![]() If you are going to cut it.. I think it looks best if you cut a section in front of and behind the rear wheel although maybe I shortened it to much.. ![]() Let me know.. I can do it different..
