Just wear your Platform Go-Go Boots when you're working on the truck... that will solve the height problem.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha

I got one of the notches in last night and most of the cross members out. I said it before taking out the cross members sucks.

Re: I dont no what I am building haha

both notches are in and all cross members are out. Center cross member is in and bolted down. I still have to finish welding up the notch and boxing the frame but it seems to going well. Hope the notches are deep enough to lay this truck out. I am going to measure the ones on the 72 to see if i have enough room. I guess only time will tell.

How tall of a tire will you run? How deep is the notch?

30" tire - 9" notch
32" tire - 10" notch

Should get you close anyway...

Hey Eric..

There are a few different ways to shorten this so I drew up some of the options. I left the original image behind each one to give you a general sense of how much I was chopping.

If you are going to cut it.. I think it looks best if you cut a section in front of and behind the rear wheel although maybe I shortened it to much..

Let me know.. I can do it different..

I like the shortened in front of the wheel well only! Looks like one of those custom touches that you can tell something's been changed but you can't tell what! But I say leave it stock length. Keep them pics coming!
