I am planing to use the trim. I picked up all of the cab trim from Dutchmanz when I got the bed. I need to figure out the easiest way to mark the clip holes to be drilled. I'm also going to Crutchfield soon to go stereo shopping so I can cut the speaker holes. Then maybe I can pull it all apart and paint it. Oh I also traded some stuff and got a tach dash from VA72C10

Re: Project I did it again
wow that is nice! i would take the trim off of your green 67 (nicely). and gt a peice of paper and mark where the holes are hold it up to your doors and drill the holes this is the way i would do it... the fenders are easy

Re: Project I did it again
That's what I was going to try first since the pass side trim is gone anyway.

Re: Project I did it again
Well my buyer backed out when I told him I wouldn't risk driving it to Massachusetts, since it has been sitting for 20 something years. That's what I get for being honest. He was a stand up guy and sent me a little extra to cover the fees so I can't be too upset. So it's for sale again don't everyone jump up with the money at once

Re: Project I did it again
Soon Rick, I just about have all the bugs worked out of the wrecker. I did buy some parts for the 67, and stripped all the paint off and repainted the bezel I got from you.

Re: Project I did it again
The green truck is gone. I did something bad, traded it for a F@#d Ranger. In my defense it drives and gets good gas mileage so I have more money for parts. I go near Top Banana every other week for work now, I haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing yet.
No progress on the short bed other than buying some new bumpers and mounts so I can fix the frame horn that I tweaked with the forklift. I am moving 100 miles west so I am debating selling it or just letting it sit until I get a place to work out there which could be awhile.

How are things in Waynesboro? Did you ever sell the shortbed?

Re: Project I did it again
Things out here are good . I'm looking for a permanent place with a garage.
I still have the short bed and it's somewhat for sale. I might stick it on eBay if someone on here doesn't inquire first. I am in the mood to sell stuff so the buyer will probably get a pretty good deal.
