The parts for the conversion came from a 68-77 Corvette speedo. I used the trip odometer reel and reset gear and mounted them in the truck speedo frame. The reset cable is for a 64-67 Corvette. When I was searching for parts, I found that Impalas and Caprices from this era also use the same basic set-up, but only the Corvette parts dealers were selling complete cables and other parts.
Here is a picture of the truck speedo frame with the trip odometer parts installed & the reset cable screwed in. I had to tap an existing hole in the truck speedo with 3/8"-24 threads at an angle for the reset cable. The other holes were already there & all I had to do was install the parts. There are a few other things you have to do to convert. I'll try to make a how-to after the weekend if there is interest.
