I have looked at these pictures several times now and am simply astounded that you survived. Did you go buy a lottery ticket too? You have some serious luck going on there.

Man, glad you're ok. When I see a steering wheel broke like that I know what kind of beating your body must have taken. I'm sure you don't need to be told this but you're lucky to be alive!

That is some serious damage. I'm glad that you survived and are recovering. Made me think about getting a roll bar.

On a different note, I found your new truck's abused twin at a dismantler in Brentwood today. Just thought I'd share.

Actually instead of a roll bar I think a collapsible steering column should come first. Being a mustang guy too I never fully understand the big stink (mustangs got a collapsible column in 68) until I saw your pictures. This is at the top of my list for next spring.

Re: Death and Birth of A C10

Those pictures are exactly the reason I'm selling both of my 60's trucks. I've been thru 2 major wrecks in new trucks (both 2001) that saved my life, no way I want to get in a wreck in something with ZERO safety features. Retarded.

Glad you are ok, several months late.
