Re: got the notches put in!
Did you box it in, or just add another plate to the inside of the c-channel? I would BOX that whole notch in especially directly above the notch itself where its the smallest and weakest. Looks kinda scarey right now to be honest. I've seen setups like that where the top of the frame bends around the notch and all of a sudden your truck is sitting lopsided and dog legged. Kinda hard to explain, but you should box it in. Nothing wrong with the way you've done it, Looks like a solid start. I just think you should go the extra mile as you said and add some more plate to the inside to finish it up

Re: got the notches put in!
well I plated the the inside of the frame, but that setup is gone now i have a step notch now, thats the reason i didnt want to box it in at first, because I knew i was going to change it out, but my step notch is boxed in on the inside from where the frame steps up in the back, but i didnt get any pictures.

Re: got the notches put in!
Does anyone know how low it will lay on bags with only a c-notch? I do not want to cut the floor but would like to bag it. Thanks

Re: got the notches put in!
I,m just finishing my blazer with a c notch flipped with 3 leafs left in and a 1 inch lowering block and the pumpkin hits the floor, but the driveshaft hits the the crossmembers and some of the floor by the looks of it,so take your driveshaft out first and check later so you don,t bend shaft or brake tailshaft
