Rims & Tires
Fellows, I have a 92 GMC Sierra regular cab. I am in the market for some wheels and tires in a 20x8.5 (F) and a 20x10 (R) but my question is what backspace do they need to be for a perfect fit with no scrubbing and the clerence with turning or anything.
As far as tires I was thinking 245-45-20 for the F & R |

Re: Rims & Tires
Are you lowered? If so, how much?
I ran a 20x8.5 w/ 5 3/4" BS and a 20x10 with 6" BS on my bagged 94. |

Re: Rims & Tires
Hey Jwall, did you have the fender lips rolled or custom inner fenders on the front? Im about to take my truck to 5/7 static with those size wheels and trying to figure out a good BS to avoid rubbing while turning. Mine has stock inner fenders with a rolled lip.

But you should be able to keep your factory inner fenders @ 5/7. |

Re: Rims & Tires
Would you recommend the BS you have or a little less to keep from rubbing the inner well while turning.? Yours look like they stick in pretty far (i guess they have to be if the truck is bagged). I think I remember somebody telling me 5.0 worked good on the front with 5 inch drop but I havent measured anything out yet.

Re: Rims & Tires
I'd go with around a 5 1/2" backspacing
