Sorry for being the NOOB..

But I cant find the answer so hopefully this thread can be helpful to some in the future + me.

Got the ls1 windage tray. But it is shorter than the stock tray. and does not cover the entire crank area (see pic) do place it toward the front or rear of engine?

It's been a while since I installed mine but doesn't the pump pickup tube determine the placement of the tray?? Seems like that's what I found....sorry for the cobwebs!!!......jim
