Re: 60-66 outer rear view placement...

I think I'm going to lay a piece of paper on the door lined up with top and front edges and make a template that can be used for locating both drivers and passenger mirror hole locations.

Re: 60-66 outer rear view placement...

iF YOU DECIDE TO USE RECTANGULAR MIRRORS RATHER THAN THE ROUND ONES......BE CAREFUL WITH THE POSITIONING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. ADJUST THE ARM SO THE MIRROR CLEARS THE WING VENT......BEFORE FINISHING UP THE INSTALL. DO NOT ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS------BUT BE WARNED YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE BASE FROM THE DOOR BEFORE YOU CAN ADJUST THE ARM........AAARRRRGGGHHHHHHH AND AFTER YOU DO THIS YOU WILL KNOW HOW HARD THOSE LITTLE FLANGE NUTS ARE TO INSTALL AND TIGHTEN.
