Well after reading your info page I thought thats what I needed. I plan on keeping the original 68 brake lines and didn't want to run adapters. Am I wrong?

If you are doing the conversion and have to buy hoses I recommend the conversion hoses.
Since you already own the 71-72 hoses I would use those.
(they will be slightly longer since they don't have to reach all the way to the front of the crossmember to connect to the steel line)

Have you looked to see if you can bolt these directly up?
Inverted flare adapters will cure that and are around $5 each here locally.

I understand wanting to plan out your build before you start,... but it just might pay to look under your truck and check.

Conversion hoses from ECE part #03-6480 are $55.00
71-72 hosed locally to me are listed as left and right.
(meaning the steel line connection is a different size on one side)
RH is $24.00
LH is $23.00.
But one will require an adapter.

All is well Keith, I did my homework and like you said the left and right side have different size holes. I just figured that I might as well go with the conversion hose for a cleaner look. I found a set on the POL website for $35.99 so I think I will go with those.

Yes these can be adapted to work or you can choose to buy a set of the "conversion" hoses like I did and they will bolt right up, so to speak
