Factory CC in 2002 4.3L W/T

I have just purchased a 2002 Chevy 1500 W/T with the 4.3L V6.I am an amputee and it is important to have cruise for any trip over a 1/2 or so.I saw the cruise FAQ for LS engines but I am not sure if it applies to the 4.3L.I am hoping that I can just get the right lever and modules at a junkyard and hook this up.Can anyone help me out with this question? Thanks in advance!

Should be able to change the turn signal switch and have the ecm reflashed by the dealer to add cruise control.

No ECM reflash needed.
You need a Cruise Module & cable, & a Cruise multi function switch. The Module plug will have a "cap" over it, But is there.

Not just any module will work, Stick with a 99-02 trucks for a doner. The Module part # is 25315559.
