That should go for any component you put on your truck. Think of the last time you saw a truck with a wild flame job at a show. You still remember every detail of the flames but probably can't remember much about the rest of the truck without stopping to think about it for a minute. The super widewhites work with over restored trucks with every extra piece of factory chrome and stainless plus a sunvisor on them and maybe a two tone paint job where there is enough extra stuff to draw your attention that they don't dominate the truck.
