Re: 20/22 Boyd Vtwin & porterbuilt stage 2 suspension

That's good news! I was under the impression that the steering shaft wouldn't work with that alt bracket. If it fits your '67, it should fit others, too, as the 'rails were narrowed in the later years for the big blocks.

If you're against a top mount compressor, S&P has a low mount that runs a Sanden on the main belt, moving it forward a bit-- maybe enough to clear. $pendy though...

The f-body ac compressor and bracket isnt even close. Easiest way to get ac on this setup would be to go with an aftermarket top mount ac bracket. Truck accessories might be a option but I wouldnt count on it
Did you ever come up with a solution to the accessory bracket problem? Also, what brand and part # did you finally go with for headers?

4th gen fbody ac bracket/compressor will not work with the MILD dropmember.

Hart rod, headers are 1 7/8 kooks tbss specific. Ill get you part numbers when i get home.
Because of the magnacharger i have ditched all the 4th gen accessories and went to 5th gen camaro pullies. The charger is 5th gen camaro specific

I dont think the back needs to come down more. Thats a perfect muscle car stance. Are the control arms on the ground in those pics?

I think the LS1 a/c and alternator bracket would work with the extreme dropmember if the motor were moved forward 1". Thoughts?? Also, are the 2009 G8 brackets 4th or 5th Gen? Heres a picture:

Part no.6311 on these 1 7/8

They also have the 6310 which is the 1 3/4.

Those g8 accessories look very similar to 5th gen camaro accessories.

Thanks for the part numbers! I'm just curious if anyone has tried the big tube Doug Thorley headers? I know the small ones don't work, but take alook at these pictures and let me know what you guys think.

You know the extreme dropmember raises the motor about 3" and i would say there would be issues with the tubes hitting the firewall atleast on the passenger side. Mild dropmember would probably be ok?

Truck looks great, what are the tire specs and what did it take to get the rear that low? Any notching or tubs? I'm guessing you're on bags, are they aired out or close to it??? Thanks for the info, bad a$$ truck!!
