Re: solid red taillights ?

I can't say that I have seen any, but you could take a stock pair and tint or "candy" the reverse lens red to match.

I have done this on several tail lights to get rid of the amber turn signal portion. The same would work for the reverse light.

Re: solid red taillights ?

Not for our trucks. They did for the RV's that ran the same taillight. My grandpa's 5th wheel has the solid red lights.

Re: solid red taillights ?

wouldn't the white light shine pink when lit? Not sure I would dig that. vht makes a red sprayable tint. I used it on my camaro. and yes, it lights up pink when in reverse and I hate it.

Do you think that brake light bulbs are actually red?

Use a secondary set of reverse lights? Might not look right on your camaro, but I use a cheapo set of Walmart foglights for reverse lights on my truck (that way I can actually see!).

Re: solid red taillights ?

I ran an independant wire from my brake light switch and replaced the clear reverse bulb with an amber one for my 4-ways and turn signals, and have fog lights for my reverse lights, so now my running lights and stop lights are red, my 4-ways are amber in the reverse light location and my reverse fog lights are at the corners of the bumper. Looks pretty cool and it's factory but custom.
