Re: Best budget headers

Suggestions on a header for a C30 with the 454? Or does it not matter?

Thorley's. Not cheap new (over $700), but keep an eye out on CL. I scored an "almost new" set for my big block for $350, but I've seen them go for under $200.

You can usually get small block headers for a little less.

Budget headers aren't worth the trouble. Save your money until you can afford some good headers

Re: Best budget headers

Ok, guys I decided to buy some affordable headers and have my exhaust modified at a shop. Thing is the truck isn’t really road ready yet. So, my question is how hard is it to remove my dual pipes and bring them with the headers to the exhaust shop? As always thanks in advance for the advice.
